Covent Garden/Lester Square

So we had Monday and Tuesday off. Monday I got up by 11 AM, (the time change is starting to wear on me). Taylor, Katherine, Allie, and I went to Covent Garden yesterday. One thing I've noticed about London is the bright color schemes that no one is afraid to wear, carry, or afraid to have as business colors (no matter what they are selling). I LOVE IT!!!!

These next few pictures are from the Covent Garden Tube exit. I think these are fantastic!!!

Katherine found this little cheese shop. So we went in. Yep LOTs of different types of cheeses!!!

There were many cool little shops we walked through. However this tea shop was pretty sweet too.

I found this shirt... Taylor insisted I hold it up to myself so she can take a picture. I thought it was funny too!!

My lunch!! It was YUMMY!!!! As we were all eating, an older man was going down the stairs just to Katherine's right when he fell down them. He appeared to have hit his head, because he was bleeding from it. One thing that I found out to be a HUGE difference.... In London you call "999" (their 911), and they ask you if it's "life threatening," if you say no - the EMTs will come when they can, NOT right away. If you fall in the US and hit your head, they dispatch EMTs right to your house immediately. When the older man fell - we had just received our appetizer, by the time our whole meal was finished the EMTs hadn't arrived yet (as far as I knew).

Do not let this fool you. This is an actual human, dressed as a statute!!! She did a great job at being still... then again she could actually be asleep?
