A Row Boat Ride & A 5 Year Old Singing His ABC's

So we went to Oxford University as for a day trip. I took a lot of pictures, and "a lot" is totally an understatement!!!!

This was a memorial for the martyrs (2 of them) that refused to change their faith from Catholic to Protestant. This was at the center of the "square" when we came into Oxford.

The Ashmoleum Museum we went to the bathroom in when we arrived to Oxford.

Some snap-shots that were right outside of the bathrooms

Our tour guide (in the white- she wasn't as good as Nigel was), Suzanne standing in the background, Hayley in the red, and that's Allison's ear and side of her face.

I got photo bombed by a the orange orb in THREE (3) pictures. I'm freaked out!!!
This is picture 1

The NEXT three pictures go together, and are about the cross that's in the picture below.

Can you name this building? What was it in a certain movie?

This was in that movie too.... what was it?

2nd photo bomb from the orange orb.

3rd photo bomb from the orange orb.
This is seriously scary.... because in no way they are even close to where any of the photo bombed orange orb's were!!!

One of my favorite pictures from this day!!!

This was pretty funny, so I took a picture of it. This is: The Famous Turf Tavern; An Education on Intoxication

Taylor and me in one of the gardens at Oxford University (next the ruins)

Fish and Chips for lunch with a Pepsi
It was good.... but I'm not a big fan of this style of fish. But I ate it!!

We got photo bombed by some random girl!! She's in the blue standing next to me.

Our two professors: Dr. Suzanne Klatt and Dr. Kevin Bush

The other side of the court yard we were in

Any other time we would be able to go up the steps and have a looksy, but  it was under maintenance care

Through the gates was the ruins, the overlook mound, and beautiful gardens (and grass we weren't allowed on.... only the students)

The gals that I was with decided to rent a row boat for an hour. Me with the stupid book on my foot, and the fact that I had white pants on.... combined with water.... not just a good idea. So while they rowed.... I explored. When I met back up with them an hour later, there was a father and his son sitting next to me. The little boy was 5 years old. I struck a pretty good deal with him (the 5 year old) I asked him to sing his ABCs. At first he was reluctant, but when I said I'd sing mine to him if he sang his to me first. And we "pinky swore" to it too. (I of course had to teach him how to pinky swear). It was a total HOOT!!!!

The gals rowing..... it was funny to watch them try to figure it out. But once they got it... they were cruising.... well sort of.... lol

Better watch out for the ducks.... wouldn't want to "Hit" one..... Nora.....
