Unfinished Michelangelo Illustrations?

First day off all week!!! And it's FRIDAY July 4th!!!! Happy Independence Day!!! Go figure - I'm in the country we broke from 238 years ago.

So today Allison, Martha, and I went to the National Art Gallery, and the National Portrait Gallery. We saw some simply beautiful pieces by artists such as: Manet, Renoir, Seurat, Botticelli, da Vinci, Raphael, Titian, van Gogh, Rembrandt.....   And MANY MANY MORE!!! I also got to see Catherine Middleton's portrait, it was in it's own place in a hall. I saw Queen Elizabeth II's portrait, and Diana's next to her ex Prince Charles' portraits.

One of the coolest things I was able to see was two of Michelangelo's unfinished pieces:

'The Manchester Madonna'

The Entombment

I didn't take these pictures.... courtesy of the iNet. But you can see.... if they were to be finished that would totally be awesome sauce because they are now.... and they're not even done!!!!

So when Allison, Martha, and I got there... I was snapping away with my camera.... We walk into the first hall... still snapping pictures..... and I get in trouble. :( No picture taking.... booo. So here's what I got before I got in trouble the first time....

The dud with they bag pipe, wearing the kilt only knew how to play "Amazing Grace" because that's all I heard him play, both times we were outside....

I got in trouble for taking this picture.... :(
The second time I got in trouble when I was seriously leaning in to look at the brush strokes in an illustration. I was too close....

Patriotic side walk chalk!!

Yep I tipped for the pictures too!!

The creepy birds were too close.... again

Queen Victoria I in the painting behind me.... Selfie!!!

Queen Elizabeth I's royal family when she was younger

Force is with you young Padawan!!! He's actually floating!!!! This was cool!!!

  1. IS IT POSSIBLE TO BE A CHRISTIAN EVOLUTIONIST? BY STEVE FINNELL

According to a 2013 survey by the Pew Research Center 27% of white evangelical Protestants, 68% of white Catholics and 78% of white mainline Protestants believe that humans have evolved over time.

Is it possible to be a Christian evolutionist? How is that possible?

God is either the creator of all things or a human evolutionists. He is not both.

Genesis 1:26-27 Then God said , "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness.......27 So God created man in His own image...(NKJV)

God did not say let man evolve into His own image.

Matthew 19:4 And He answered and said to them, "Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning 'made them male and female." (NKJV)

Jesus said, male and female were made at the beginning. Male and female did not evolve, they were created.

Some who claim to be Christians, say that the Genesis account of creation is allegorical or mythical. Is Matthew 19:4 allegorical and mythical as well?

Others claim to believe in theistic evolution. God is either creator of all things or a humanist evolutionist, God is not both.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO BE CHRISTIAN AND AN EVOLUTIONISTS? GOOD LUCK WITH THAT!
